OYO 28729 Coco Retreat

The hotel is only a few meters from the sea shell museum, and the setting, food, and service made a good impression. We attended a kids birthday party on the lawn outside the hotel. The staff had decorated and set it up beautifully. There was a live dosa and pasta counter alongside the buffet, with both veg and non veg dishes. Everything I tried tasted fresh and was good quality. I’d highly recommend the hotel.

The staff were patient and attentive with the kids during the birthday party, and the food felt homely enough for them to eat. It was a lovely, peaceful setting for an evening celebration. The place is very close to sea shell muaseam and pancharatha tourist spot of Mahabalipuram. We could plan a quiet weekend stay here and take in the sights around Mahabalipuram.

There’s room for 5 to 6 families, around 20 people, and the pool is a nice spot to relax. The play area has space for shuttle, football, and badminton. It’s a cool place with plenty of privacy for families. Having coffee and tea available inside the resort would be a bonus, since it’s a long way to go out for them.

Coco Retreat is a private, well-maintained villa with welcoming hospitality, and the food was tasty and affordable. The spacious rooms and hall worked well for time with family and friends. We enjoyed the pool and the lawn play area, which suits both kids and adults. A great break from city life.
