The New Holiday Inn

Even breakfast was missing, despite already being paid for. They didn't provide basic things either. A really awful experience.

It’s a convenient place to stay if you’re going to Mehasana water park. The rooms were great, and the cuisine was nice too. A day costs around 1500rs, and they also have sweet room. In winter, though, hot water can be a problem: they use a solar heater, so without sun the water stays cold.

The one good thing is the location, right off the highway by a junction, which works well for travelers. The rest was disappointing: the rooms and toilets were unhygienic, with spider webs, and there’s no in-house restaurant. The tea and coffee maker they mention was just a broken kettle, with no tea bags, sugar, or anything else. Hot water wasn’t available all the time, and housekeeping used an old, dirty towel to mop. They advertise as a 3-star hotel on their website and other service apps, but I wouldn’t give it even one star. It felt like a cheap hotel for bachelors.

A handy stop on the highway when traveling with family. There’s a water park, good food outlets, and clean toilets, and we ate at Subway. The last bit of my experience was confusing: I needed to call the office to see if I had it on my device to the hotel, and we are not.
