OYO HOME 44764 Guna Residency

Horrible place. Don't book here, and don't use the OYO app either. They provide low-quality hotels.

Don't book this place through OYO. They may refuse to check you in. I waited two hours while trying to sort it out with OYO customer care, and they eventually moved me to another property. In Guna, they said there were no rooms available, so why list the place on OYO and take prepaid reservations? They also said the owner wanted more money than the OYO price, even though OYO sets the hotel's price itself.

My first stay in Chennai was a really bad experience. The room, bathroom, and toilets were all unclean, and the bed sheets and blanket were dirty. When I asked the man at the counter to change them, he refused and told me to buy new ones first. I booked a big room through goibibo, but they gave me a small one. I showed the counter guy proof of my booking, and he said it was the only room available. When I objected, he told me to go sleep outside. It was about 11:30 pm and my first time in Chennai, so I didn't have much choice but to stay. There were many other problems too. On checkout day, I was told to leave by 10 am even though checkout time was 11. I said I was packing, and when he came back around 10:30, he said guests were waiting for the room. That made me wonder if they clean or change anything before the next guests arrive. I checked out around 10:50. I couldn't contact the hotel beforehand because I expected to check in late. I don't recommend staying here. Cancel if you can. There was no respect for guests.

For a short stay, this place is strictly average. The rooms aren't very well maintained, and the bedsheets could be cleaner. Expect to find tiny frogs in the ground-floor toilets. Also, don't book on Oyo if you want an AC room, since they charge at least 1000 per night for one.
