The power went out an hour before checkout, with no backup. I couldn't stay in the room for another minute and spent the last hour outside, sitting on the staircase. The room itself was smelly and disgusting, with unclean sheets and bed, and the AC didn't work. There wasn't a proper receptionist, and the man there only spoke Hindi, not English or Tamil. He said my OYO booking wasn't available and demanded extra money. After looking at the reviews following my visit, I found that this seemed to have happened to many customers. It makes OYO itself seem untrustworthy. This felt like a dungeon, and I wouldn't recommend it for families with children or women. I wish I could give it no stars. Don't fall for it by booking through "OYO room".

Last week I arrived with an OYO booking for 850, but they asked me to pay 1600 rupees for a single bedroom. Very poor service. Is this how you treat everyone? If this keeps happening, the hotel will end up shutting down.

I booked an AC room, but they told me it wasn't an AC room. The facility was dirty, and leaking drainage water around the property smelled so awful I couldn't stand outside for more than a few moments. The receptionist barely responded, and I didn't feel there was any safety for guests. Families should avoid this place. OYO wasn't helpful either. Customer care said the room would be good and refused to refund my booking. If the property isn't good or safe, why would I check in? They marked the booking as checked in, although I hadn't submitted any ID or signed anything at this awful hotel. OYO needs to take this seriously. I'm sharing some pictures.

I booked an AC room through Oyo for 780, and they didn't ask me to pay anything extra, which was good. The room itself was very nice and clean. Service was poor, though, and they need to improve it and show the online prices clearly.

The location is handy, with all the food courts close by, and the staff who are working are nice. But the rooms need better upkeep, the AC doesn't work in most of them, and the manager is frustrating to deal with because he never responds to problems. I don't think it's worth staying here. AKG is much better.
