OYO 87910 Hotel SUN PLAZA

We booked a day through cleartrip but arrived late at night. The hotel had given our room to someone else, apparently assuming we wouldn’t show up. The people at reception were rude and gave us fake, stupid reasons, with no support at all. There was no senior official available to help. At 10 pm we were looking for another hotel with small kids in tow. Pathetic experience, ghatiya hotel. Cheaters and liars, don’t trust them.

I arrived at the hotel in Delhi to check in after booking through Agoda at a confirmed price of ₹1,565. The receptionist then said the room cost ₹4,000, claiming the Agoda amount covered only the “booking” and that I had to pay the hotel extra. No extra charge had been mentioned during booking, and the pricing wasn’t transparent. I wasted time and energy travelling there only to face this. Future guests should be cautious. Choosing a more reputable, transparent hotel may help avoid this kind of inconvenience.

Sun Plaza has several hotels, and when I came through fab, they had me walk to another of their buildings. The area is central and surrounded by hotels. For 1000-1200, it was okay for a night or two, or if your flight is delayed. It’s fine for a few days, but I wouldn’t call it excellent.

The staff and manager offered no cooperation, and the staff were very rude. They disagreed whenever we asked for anything. There were no towels, drinking water, or even glasses to drink from. The toilets had no flush, and the water heaters weren’t working. The rooms were dirty, the sheets and pillows smelled, and the toilets hadn’t been cleaned by check-in. Breakfast was the cheapest quality. They wouldn’t even give a family rooms on one floor when we asked. They don’t know the meaning of hospitality. This is a dirty place, worse than a low-grade lodge, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Don’t book, even at the cheapest price.
