Late night entry was allowed, which was a plus. The rooms were okay, though service was a little slow. I wouldn’t choose this for a family with kids, but it suits couples or friends looking for a budget stay.

For a bachelor, the rooms are fine, but they aren’t very comfortable for a family. Service was really poor, so you may have to sort out other things yourself.

The low price and convenient location worked well for my one-night stay. The room was just adequate, and the bathroom wasn’t what I’d hoped for. There’s quite a bit they could improve.

I found the beds comfortable, the linens good quality, and the furnishings well maintained at Hotel Payel. The staff were friendly, attentive, and helpful, which made for a good stay. It’s also conveniently placed for getting to Malda’s attractions.

The location and rooms were good, but the reception needs work and some staff need hospitality training. Although I’d booked and paid online, I arrived at 6 PM instead of noon and then waited over an hour for the room. I called more than ten times to tell them I’d be checking in at 6, but nobody answered.
