Paradise Isle Beach Resort

We booked premium rooms on the ground floor, without balconies, and stayed for three nights. The rooms are simple, but the peaceful setting and lovely ambience made the place special. The location near Malpe Beach is hard to beat, with the beach just a short walk away and little city noise around. We found it relaxing and comfortable. The staff were welcoming, polite, and helpful. Breakfast came with our plan and was tasty, filling, and well prepared each morning. The restaurant also looks out towards the beach, which made meals nicer. The bedding could use an upgrade, and the in-room intercom was being maintained while we were there. It wasn’t a major problem, but it would be good to address. We had a pleasant stay and would recommend the property for a calm beach break, with good food and supportive staff.

Our sea-facing room made the two days at Paradise feel blissful. The balcony view was breathtaking, and both the service and food were good. Definitely a place worth staying.

The staff were the one bright spot. They were friendly, humble, and genuinely helpful, doing what they could despite the problems elsewhere. At these rates, the resort experience was disappointing. The rooms felt old and small, with an outdated bathroom, poor views, and smelly curtains. There weren’t even basic bath mats for the bathtub. The common bathroom by the 1st-floor restaurant smelled awful, though everyone had to use it to wash their hands before eating. That felt very unhygienic for a premium-priced resort. Breakfast was below average and had few choices. Dinner was also a letdown: around ₹1000 for two people felt expensive for the taste and quality. The rooms, hygiene, and facilities need serious upgrades to match the price, so I can’t recommend staying here as it is.

Being just steps from Malpe Beach and the ferry point is a huge advantage, but the property itself needs a lot of work. The bathrooms looked tired, the furniture was worn, and the rooms seemed old and neglected. Requests for housekeeping or maintenance were often slow or went unanswered. Some staff interactions also felt dismissive and unprofessional. Food and a few individual staff members may have been praised in other reviews, but the service felt inconsistent to me and upkeep was lacking. If location matters more than comfort, it might suit you. I can’t recommend it until maintenance and staff training improve.
