AHR Grace Resort and Spa

The peaceful setting made it easy to relax, and the room felt comfortable and homely. It was clean, roomy, well kept, and had a lovely mountain view. Staff were polite and helpful whenever we needed them, and room service arrived quickly. The food was very good too. We had a wonderful stay in Manali and would happily come back. I’d recommend it to couples and families.

The restaurant food was very good, and service there was excellent. The waiters were kind and cooperative, and speaking with them felt like talking with family. Mr.Yashpal ji and Mr. Vijay were very good people. The garden was lovely and the bathrooms were very clean, and the rooms were good too. But hot water was a major problem. The hotel’s location is poor, the road is in bad shape, and the main market is far away. Drivers don’t get good food. Reception staff spoke arrogantly, didn’t know how to talk to guests, and were not cooperative.

We arrived hungry and worn out after a long walk, even though we’d told the hotel ahead of time that a large group was coming. They still had no food for us and wouldn’t offer frozen food or any basic alternative. There was no effort or empathy. For a room of four, they left just one tea or coffee packet; when we asked for more, they told us to “cooperate.” We also had to go downstairs to reception ourselves to collect a water bottle. This was one of my worst hotel stays. I found the service negligent and can’t recommend this place.

During our three days at Grace Resort last week, the resort’s cleanliness was below average and there wasn’t much choice in the food. We ordered only one omelette, and ₹200 felt overpriced for it. One of our hair dryers also went missing while we were there, which was disappointing. The place has potential, but service, cleanliness, and value for money need a lot of work. The stay didn’t meet our expectations.
