Hotel City Heart by OYO Rooms

I paid 1400 for a five-hour stay. The owner was friendly, and the free WiFi was a lifesaver because my mobile network wasn’t working. The amenities were below average, though, with no electric kettle and no hot water.

This place is nice and in a good location, with good food, though the price is a bit high. I’d normally give it 3-4 stars. But I ran into a difficult situation, and the manager only seemed to care about money. He didn’t seem concerned about helping me, just about his earnings. I trusted him and ended up making a mistake. If you only need a nice place to stay, it might work for you. If you care about the people running it, you may want to look elsewhere. Sadly, the manager seemed to care only about himself. Here’s what happened. I booked and paid for a room through OYO at a different hotel, but they wouldn’t let me in. I came here hoping to get compensation for OYO’s mistake. The manager didn’t help with my problem, and in the end he got what he wanted: I paid for a room in cash from my own pocket.

It’s handy for buses, food, and groceries. The downsides were a dirty toilet, a broken toilet tub, and WiFi that didn’t work reliably.

The hotel is in a nice spot, with a good location, and there are lots of other hotels you could book. But I wouldn’t book this one through OYO. I arrived at 11 pm and was told there were no rooms for OYO guests, but I could pay and stay.
