Raj, one of the senior staff, and Sachin, who looks after the dining area, deserve a special thank you. There was also a woman working there whose name I’m sorry I didn’t get, plus another woman at the front desk and the room service team. Everyone treated us with such warmth. After more than twenty years of travelling, I rarely come across hotel staff with this kind of attitude. Professionalism is one thing, but their kindness felt like it came from within. I pray they’re all blessed and that Bookmark resorts continues to thrive. We were there from 12th to 16th Dec 2025.

The general manager, Sanjay, threatened and blackmailed our family when snowfall left us stuck at the hotel and we asked for basic facilities. On our third day, after the snowfall had stopped for more than 36 hours, we asked for a bonfire. He told us to leave, shouted and behaved badly, then said he was the owner’s son and called it an MLA hotel, among other things. What was wrong with asking for a bonfire? The staff tried to help, but for even the smallest thing they had to get Mr Sanjay’s approval. He could be sweet to your face while acting differently. They claim to have 24*7 central heating, but it wasn’t on even when electricity was available. Hot water was stopped at night, and when we asked for it and challenged the situation, they blamed us. The hotel is isolated, with a nice view, but the nearest cafe or restaurant is 2 km uphill. You can find much better rooms for less at snow valley resort or orchard green resort. Avoid this hotel at any cost. It clearly isn’t family friendly.

The food was delicious, and Mr. Raj, Miss Tina, and the serving team made it even better with their warm, attentive hospitality. Everyone we met was polite and welcoming. The hotel was also very clean, which made for a comfortable, relaxing visit. I’d highly recommend it for the service, cleanliness, and food. 100/100.

We had fun playing cricket and badminton in the resort garden, and they arranged a bonfire for us at no extra cost. The balcony view was a real highlight, with snow-covered mountains, including rohtang pass, in sight. We’d booked a luxury room with Jacuzzi for two nights. It was clean and well kept, and the staff were polite and helpful. The food was good apart from the Chinese dishes, which could be better. Service took a long time too, so they may need more people working.
