There was a good range of food at breakfast, lunch, and dinner, including pav bhaji and Chinese dishes, though paneer appeared often. Breakfast had no live counter. The room was large, with a balcony and a partial open view, and hot water for bathing was available throughout. I stayed alone in Room No. 227 from 21st January to 24th January, booked through Veena World Tour and Travel. The hotel is on the main road, with a hot air balloon activity just opposite, but Mall Road is far away. I couldn’t visit because of the weather. Heavy snowfall on 23rd January left us without electricity on the 23rd and 24th, and the generator ran only now and then because fuel wasn’t available. The heater or air conditioner didn’t warm the room properly unless I stood right under it. Room service was quick and responsive, and they said they could arrange a manual heater if needed. I wouldn’t call this a true 4-star hotel, though I’m giving it 4 stars mainly for the room size and food variety.

The food was so delicious, hard to put into words. The hotel was clean and in a good location, and nearly all the staff were polite. The receptionist was the exception. We weren’t given water bottles or other accessories at check-in, the bathroom exhaust fan didn’t work, and after checking in we were asked to pay extra to turn on the AC blower. Overall, the experience was mediocre.

The balcony had a nice view, and the location was great. Our stay was very good, with pleasant rooms and an AC heater. Breakfast and dinner came with lots of choices, and there were indoor games too.
