Himalayan Cottages Manali

The view was spectacular, and Old Manali is a great location. We were made to feel welcome throughout our stay by khem, deepika and the rest of the staff, who were kind and ready to help with anything we needed. Comfortable rooms and a great breakfast too. We’d definitely recommend it.

We spent four pleasant days in Manali, and Khem and his staff made things easy for us. They arranged shoes, cabs and meals at very affordable prices, and when it snowed, they helped with our luggage so we wouldn’t have any trouble. We also had some really good conversations with other travellers at the hotel. Thanks, guys, we had a great time.

It’s a budget-friendly place in Old Manali, away from the busy parts of Manali, with clean rooms and polite, helpful people running the guest house. Getting there is the challenge: it’s on a steep hill, so you need to be confident driving, and there’s no parking. They also don’t provide amenities for the driver. Apart from that, it’s a nice place to stay.

The setting is a little off the beaten track, with lovely mountain views, but the main attractions are still easy to reach. It’s a good spot for anyone who really wants to unwind, and our host was very hospitable. The location worked perfectly for us.
