Hotel Ashoka Inn

We had a terrible experience from the moment we entered the room. There was no lift, yet they put us on the 5th floor. The room smelled foul and was unhygienic, and we had to beg for basic amenities. There was no hot water in the bathroom. The worst part was being refused food service. The owner also wouldn't provide cutlery and told us to go buy disposable ones from the market at 11:30pm. I wish I could give a negative rating. DO NOT CHOOSE THIS HOTEL.

The balcony had an awesome view, and the room's wooden interior was beautiful. The hotel is near the river, and the food was delicious. Hot water was available, and the staff were very good. I stayed for two days, two weeks ago. If I get another chance to visit Manali, I'll definitely come back here.

The food was average, with very limited vegetarian options. Upper-floor rooms have a great view, and the staff were polite and helpful. It’s a decent place for a comfortable stay. Mall Road is 1.4 km away and the Volvo bus stand is 500 mtr away.

There's no water for drinking or bathing, and regular power cuts with no backup made the stay miserable. The food was horrible, the place wasn't clean, and the wait staff provided poor service. No comfort at all in this 'comfort inn'. Terrible hotel and atrocious staff. I wouldn't recommend it.
