There were basic things missing throughout. In a cold place, I expected water heating in the bathroom, but there was no hot-cold mixer. At the sink it was either boiling hot or freezing cold, with nothing between. Even disposable slippers weren’t available, and toiletries and bath towels came only after I insisted. Drinking water arrived in a 10 litre bisleri bottle without a cap, and food was served on disposable plates and bowls with paper cups for water. This place has everything that can go wrong with a hotel. One of the worst “hotels” I’ve experienced. Don’t consider it, even if you have nowhere else to stay in Manali.

It’s less than 2 km from Mall Road, and the rooms are clean with views of the Himalayas. The food was average, so I’d rate it three stars.
