Hotel Whispering Valley

We chose this hotel while riding from Leh to Manali on a budget because they confirmed by phone that proper parking was available. Safe bike parking mattered to us on a long trip, but on arrival we found only a steep roadside strip, with vehicles squeezed together and parked randomly. When we asked about keeping our bikes safe, staff were dismissive and rude, saying this was the only parking and nothing would happen. We explained politely that we would check in once the bikes were safely parked, although we had already paid the booking amount. Then, while staff were moving vehicles around, they hit another parked car and an argument followed. Rather than take responsibility, one staff member said something like, “If you buy a car, obviously accidents will happen.” That was unacceptable in front of guests. We also saw scratches on several vehicles, likely from careless maneuvering in the cramped space. We left and found another hotel with proper parking. Reception refused to refund the booking amount and remained impolite. I can’t recommend this place if you care about your vehicle or expect basic respect and customer service. There was no accountability. Staff behaviour: 0/5. Parking management: 0/5. Overall: not recommended.
