Lords Residency

This is about the hotel on the left when you’re standing in front and facing the two places with the same name. The rooms themselves are fine, but the service was really poor. There were no bathroom mats, so stepping out of the shower left the room wet wherever you walked. Breakfast and dinner were offered, though the food usually wasn’t very good. We stayed four days, and only one dinner was tasty; the rest were just so-so.

At the first building on the turn in Manali, Lord residency made us feel right at home. The food was delicious, the service delightful, and both the staff and manager were cordial. A great place to stay at good prices.

The setting was one of my favorite parts of staying at Lord Residency Hotel in Manali. It’s a short drive from Mall Road, with enough distance to keep things quiet, and the Himalayan views are beautiful. I also enjoyed the fresh, flavorful food at the restaurant, which had both North Indian and local Himachali dishes. Our room was clean, cozy, and well looked after. The large windows looked out over the mountains and pine forests, and having tea while taking in that view in the morning was a real highlight. The staff were polite and attentive, whether helping with local sightseeing tours or responding quickly to room requests. It was a memorable, comfortable stay, and I’d recommend it to couples, families, or solo travelers looking for a peaceful place in Manali.

My family and I stayed for two nights, 15/06-17/06, and money was stolen from my bag. We always switched the lights off before going out, but when we came back, they’d been left on after someone had entered the room. I felt there was no safety at all. Now their telephone is disconnected too. The worst experience I’ve ever had!
