Lotus Inn Rohtang View

Good value for money and a very good location. The hotel was clean and comfortable, the facilities were excellent, and the staff were polite and helpful. Highly recommend it!

The view from the hotel was good, but the food and staff behavior left us very disappointed. We paid the full amount for the breakfast and dinner buffet, yet not one dish was edible. The rice was especially poor quality, and the buffet choices were ridiculous, ghiya, chana daal, and dry bread. Hygiene and cleanliness were zero. The hotel is very high up, making it difficult to reach and too far from Mall Road. The owner should take the staff’s behavior seriously. A lot needs improvement.

The view was great in the morning, around 8am. I especially liked how they treated us. The staff were polite, the service was good, and dinner and breakfast were too good.

The hotel sits among fresh air, pine woods, and views of Rohtang Pass, giving it a real feeling of being close to nature. Since it’s on a hill, getting to city amenities or the mall takes a bit more travel time, and in some rooms the hot water seems more reliable in the evening than at sunrise. Those were small trade-offs for me. The rooms feel warm and inviting, especially in cold weather, with wooden furnishings and tasteful decor that create a cozy mountain retreat without feeling overstuffed. Large windows, and balconies in many rooms, frame the scenery beautifully. Waking up to snow-capped peaks glittering in the morning light was a highlight. The restaurant had a decent variety, generous portions, and satisfying flavors. Breakfast and dinner stood out, and the meal staff were polite, attentive, and willing to accommodate preferences. From the moment I arrived at Lotus Inn Rohtang View, Manali, the staff were warm, helpful, and smiling. Their professionalism made me feel welcome. I had a delightful stay, with lovely interiors, good food, friendly service, and views that are hard to beat. It’s a comfortable choice for a relaxing break surrounded by nature.
