OYO 12325 River Country Cottages

We stayed four nights and felt we were in safe hands. Chef Rajender deserves special thanks: his food was excellent, super tasty, and healthy. Guest Service Associates Rekha and Malika were always smiling, warmly hospitable, and never said no. Mr. Sumit Sharma, the General Manager, tried to make time to meet us at breakfast despite his busy schedule. He was kind, warm, and friendly, and I'll miss our conversations. He told us places to visit, about the special HPMC jam my son liked, and about lingri ka achar. A thorough gentleman. We'd definitely recommend this gem of a property in Manali.

The staff made our stay especially easy. Mr Satish thakur sorted out parking, our room, and food, while Mr Mahendra and Mr rahul helped us plan sightseeing and our itinerary in Manali. Ms malika thakur served delicious meals. It’s a great family place, and we really enjoyed staying here. Get in touch with the staff for a smooth visit.

The rooms are roomy, and the heater and AC worked perfectly, though there’s quite a bit of wear and tear. Breakfast was decent, with a few choices but not a huge buffet. It’s a nice location too, about a 25-minute walk to Mall Road if you enjoy walking.

The bar was a lovely place to unwind, and the gentleman who made my White Russians was so friendly. Having hookah there was a big plus. Everyone working at the hotel was kind and helpful, and breakfast and the juices were consistently good. Most of all, I slept better than I ever have as an adult while visiting home. The mattress and pillows were incredibly soft, and the room, bathroom, bed linen, and pillows were all very clean with no odd smells. It’s easily the nicest hotel I’ve stayed at back in the motherland. I’ll stay here again when we return to Manali.
