The rooms are fairly spacious and clean, and the toilets were clean too. Staff were attentive, and they can arrange tours and cars easily. A note about the location: it's about 700 m from the mall, with mostly flat walking and around 50 stairs. There were lots of flies in the rooms, apparently because the hotel is close to the Beas River. Staff can spray HIT, but you have to tell them first. We also found the in-house restaurant food poor. They use a lot of food coloring, and all four of us got vomiting and diarrhea after eating mixed veg at lunch. The vegetables seemed not to be fresh. There are only a few local places to eat outside.

The only thing I liked was the view from the rooms. The staff were rude and unprofessional, and there was no hospitality. We were told this was the SBI Chichoga hotel and had to pay for a one-night room, though it wasn't managed by SBI. They offered no accommodation for our driver, and we paid for two rooms for just a few hours. When we asked if we could leave our car parked there for a second night, they refused straight away.

They showed no empathy when customers fell ill. All they seemed to care about was getting the room vacant, whether the guest was sick or not. The way they treated us was very bad.

The owner’s behavior was very cheap, and the rooms were dirty. I’d advise people not to stay here. Poor Himachali thinking.

We really enjoyed the view from our room’s window and balcony, with the Beas river and snowy mountains in sight. The moon setting late at night was amazing to watch through the window. The rooms were clean, and room service was very good. There’s also private parking in front of the Beas river. Thanks, CHICHOGA, for making our Manali trip memorable. 👌🙏😊
