The only good part of our stay was watching the river flow. Food and service at Paradise Whitehouse Cafe Manali were very disappointing, and I wouldn’t recommend staying or eating there. Small servings of poha and chocos cost over ₹400, a little bowl of curd was about ₹200, and soft drinks cost four times the price outside. The food quality was poor: service was slow, dishes didn’t arrive together, and we waited too long. Eating somewhere else was easier. Room service didn’t properly bring basic items like spoons or dishes, and staff were inattentive, ignoring guests who were staying or waiting. The WiFi didn’t work on the TV or phones. The refreshments in the room aren’t free, so ask first or you may be charged a lot. At check-in they ask for five-star ratings in exchange for discounts, but the experience was disappointing and the promised discount wasn’t useful. Loud live music at night can badly disturb your sleep. If you only want to see the river, that’s the one thing it has going for it, but people should know what to expect before booking.

Beas river runs right by this place, and it’s a tranquil spot with a great location. That’s why I gave it two stars. We ordered a double cheese margarita pizza, a chicken pizza, and veg pasta rosse. The pasta had no flavour, and both pizzas were below average. Mocktails were okay, and it’s a nice place for beer and the views, but the food is pathetic.

The green, peaceful surroundings made this farmhouse a lovely nature escape for a relaxing weekend. We enjoyed ourselves a lot, and the food was absolutely delicious. The hospitality was warm too. Special thanks to Miss Simran at reception. She was so sweet and humble and helped us in every way.

At white House, we found the room clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the place was quiet and convenient. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout, and made both check-in and check-out easy. Simran at reception was especially supportive and friendly. We had a very pleasant stay and would gladly recommend the hotel.

I’m still staying here, and the service in the rooms has been extremely poor. There’s a play area, but it isn’t available to guests staying at the property, so how are we meant to keep the kids entertained? For the last two nights there’s also been loud music playing past midnight, and I’m already worried about the headache I’ll get tonight. Looking at the location, I expected a peaceful stay, but it’s been the complete opposite. This place seems suited to drunk tourists, not families.
