Warehouse Suites and Loft

My friend and I happened upon this place while looking for a short luxury stay, and left feeling like friends of Paldan and Manan. The photos match what you find, and the hospitality really is as good as the reviews say. We felt at home right away. The room was cozy, the beds were the best we’ve had in India so far, check-in and checkout were hassle-free, and the space was generous with a real eye for detail and design. There’s much more to the experience than the hotel itself. We were lucky to meet Paldan during his vacation. In the morning he took us to a hot spring, then we had an amazing breakfast outside, relaxed in his room while trying to sort out his iPhone storage issues, and spent time in the garden. He showed us around, and we were lucky to meet his mother and chat with some of his friends. Later, Paldan drove us to the other valley, showed us his new project, took us to try his favorite food at local restaurants, and shared his views and ideas about Manali. He clearly loves what he does and lives by what he says. He was also genuinely interested in what we told him about the Netherlands. This kind of hotel stay is unusual, and we were fortunate to click with him as friends in less than 24 hours. He, Manan, and the team put everything into creating experiences for their guests, and you won’t regret staying here. Lots of love from the Netherlands!

We came back recently after first discovering this place two years ago, and it still feels like our favorite in Manali. The hosts are so warm that you feel included like family, and the charming, thoughtfully designed rooms make the whole property feel welcoming. This was every bit as special as our first stay, maybe even more so. One of our most memorable, heartwarming trips. I’d happily recommend it to anyone visiting Manali.

We planned on spending two days here and stayed for fifteen. Shuru village is close enough to Manali but gives you a break from the crowds, and the property itself is lovely. Mr. Manan helped us find places to visit beyond the usual tourist spots and kept checking that everything was comfortable. The hosts and house staff were welcoming and helpful throughout. Bella and Tara, the two furry residents, are there hoping for scratches and affection. We loved our time here.

My wife and I worked remotely from here for more than a week. The loft gave us the privacy we needed for work, and the WiFi was fast enough for it. It’s also near the city, and the property is well maintained. A good choice for a longer stay.
