The main things this hotel has going for it are the infrastructure and the view. The service was nowhere near what I'd expect from a 5-star place, though. I paid around 50,000 for four people, including two senior citizens, for 26th jan to 29th jan 2026, and the stay was a letdown. There was no power in my room for 6-7 hr, and there was no power backup. Hot water wasn't available consistently either, even though it's especially important in a place like this. After I asked, I was told, "diesel is limited, sir, so we have to save it; water will only be available from 7 to 11." Basic items like dental kits, slippers, and bathroom gel weren't in the room. I had to call reception 2-3 times for each thing, and housekeeping would take 20 min to come after a request. The food choices were very limited and repetitive. Morning steamed rice would show up in the evening as fried rice. I eventually went to the manager's cabin myself, and after that he got some things working better. The service was awful for the amount I paid. Hotel white medows doesn't deserve to be called 5 star. I hope other customers are treated properly.

Service was quick and good. The property itself feels dated and could use renovation, especially to lift the decor. The wooden floors in the rooms squeak, and nearby development brings a lot of noise. The road in is broken, adding 15-20 extra to the trip, and there's no shuttle to mall road.

We ended up checking out a day early because the service issues added up. Requests for Wi-Fi help, an extra blanket, cutlery, or restaurant food all took repeated follow-ups, and the staff seemed slow and unenthusiastic. We didn't find any activities at the Happy Hub. At other Club Mahindra resorts, staff invite families to join games and activities, but that was missing here. Indoor games like billiards, air hockey, and video games cost INR 2,360 (including taxes) per person per day. As members who've paid a lot for membership and still pay substantial annual maintenance fees, we found those prices unreasonable for basic recreation. Happy Hub activities should ideally be free or heavily subsidized, and the same should apply to food and spa services. The location is handy, close to the main town and Mall Road. We did enjoy the spa, too. Deepak and Rajni were courteous and professional, and their service was very good.

The calm atmosphere and lovely mountain views made our two-day stay at White Meadow Manali relaxing. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the staff were courteous and helpful throughout. The food was good, too. We'd happily come back and recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful break in Manali.

We had to wait until 3:30pm for our 2pm check-in because the rooms weren't ready, and another family was waiting too. The reception staff didn't seem to know what was going on. On the plus side, when we reported that our heater wasn't working, they responded quickly and replaced it. The bathroom was comfortable, but getting hot water took emptying 5 buckets, which wastes a lot of water. Breakfast was another problem: the buffet options were limited, the taste was below average, and the food kept repeating. Though breakfast is said to start at 7:30, it still wasn't ready by 8am. That was worrying when we had a flight to catch. They set up a camp fire outside the room for 2000 + GST. It was expensive, but we enjoyed it.
