Mohana Beach Resort

The peaceful setting was perfect for a relaxing beach getaway, and the hospitality was excellent. Staff were courteous, quick to help, and always had a smile. Our room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. We had a wonderful stay at Mohana Beach Resort, Mandarmani. Highly recommended for family and friends.

The rooms were spacious and well maintained, and the food was excellent in taste. Staff service was good too. They offer a buffet breakfast, but there are only a handful of choices. There’s no sea view from any room: the sea is farther from the property, mostly screened by trees and bushes. Although the property is on the beach, you have to walk through sand for 4-5 minutes to reach the sea. Locals said the sea reaches the property only in heavy rainy seasons. It’s otherwise a very nice place for a one- or two-day stay, but I wouldn’t recommend it for the location.

It’s a nice, clean, well-maintained resort, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It’s a little away from the happening part of Mondarmoni, so it’s a good spot for a couple of days away from the daily hustle. The beach begins at the end of the resort. There’s a cute pool for kids and amateur swimmers, and the children’s park is a good way to pass the time. I recommend it.

We were upgraded from rooms to cottages at a fraction of the cost, and the cottages were very comfortable and well designed. Food was good, and we ate all our meals onsite. The staff were warm, courteous and always ready to help with requests. The resort is away from the noisier, busier area, and the beach on this side felt almost private because there was no crowd. Highly recommended if you want a quieter holiday away from the crowds.
