At Adobo Restaurant in North 39, Chef Amit’s food was a highlight. The king fish fry was succulent and flavorful, and I loved the fluffy, spicy masala omelette. The English breakfast was cooked just right, with a nice balance of flavors. Sameksha at reception was attentive and informative, and helped make the dining experience feel just right. A lovely place for breakfast in the area, and I’d recommend trying Chef Amit’s dishes.

It’s calm and quiet here, and the rooms are comfortable, though I’d have liked them to be a bit cleaner. The property is in Mandrem and not especially close to the beach. Getting there means taking a somewhat confusing walk of around 400 mtrs, but the beach itself is lovely.

Lovely atmosphere, with nature all around. The staff were lovely too, from reception through to the kitchen. My room was clean and the bed was big. It really felt like heaven.

The pool is beautiful and very well maintained, and the whole place has a great atmosphere. All the staff were helpful, and the cook is great. The food was the best in mandrem and Goa, and it was clean and hyeginic. I’ll definitely come back next yr.

I’d stay at North 39 again when I’m back in Goa. It’s a peaceful spot set among fields, away from the main road, with lots of natural wildlife around. The staff are amazing, especially the day receptionist. She’s always friendly and helpful, and greets you with a big smile. :)
