The service boy who helped us was polite, helpful, and courteous, and breakfast the next morning was fine with good service. The rest of the stay was pretty average. We arrived late at night in heavy rain, and the first price quoted was high, so I bargained for something more affordable. The room we got was old, but we managed.

The staff were friendly and polite, and the rooms are spacious. But they weren’t clean, and the bathroom was very dirty and old-fashioned. There was a bad smell in both the lift and the breakfast seating area. The hotel uses yellow lighting everywhere, so it’s hard to tell whether the sheets or plates are dirty. They charged a lot, too.

I couldn't eat past the first taste. The rice was undercooked and the curries had gone bad. This was the worst food I’ve had in Mangalore, yet the owner was still walking around asking people how it was.

Hot gravy was poured onto my leg twice by the waiter. Pathetic service.
