Room 206 was roomy, with an attached bathroom and a ventilation window. The AC worked, and there was a fan, a chair, a cupboard, a kettle for boiling drinking water, and a TV, though it had no recharge so no channels were available. The geyser switch was hidden, but the hot water worked once it was turned on. The lift needed secure access to reach the floors. Our family room had one queen bed and one single bed. We were two adults and a baby, and I used the single bed. Three adults could fit on the queen bed, I think. Parking was available in front, with plenty of roadside space too. I wasn't sure whether the basement could be used, so I asked the staff, who could direct us to a safe spot. The staff were friendly, and food details can be checked at reception. Check-in was at 12 PM and checkout at 11 AM. I had read negative Google reviews and thought they might be true, but my experience at The Citywalk Hotel was very good. I paid ₹3000 per night without breakfast, which felt affordable. There are also many good hotels within a 3-5 km radius. Thanks to The Citywalk Hotel Team and Staf people.

The calm atmosphere made it easy to relax, and the staff were always friendly and ready to help. Our room was comfortable, spacious, and really clean. We had a wonderful stay and would happily come back. Definitely recommend it.

The location is the main plus. City Walk Residency sits in the middle of the main market, so many iconic places in Mangaluru are easy to get to. The hotel itself was disappointing, though, and especially not one I'd recommend to families. It's inside a commercial complex, with shops on the ground and first floors, so the surroundings felt chaotic. Parking a car was difficult. Our room was cramped and poorly lit, with no proper windows or sunlight, and the bedsheets looked old and yellowish, which felt unhygienic. The property doesn't seem well maintained.

The central location is what I love most about this place. I've stayed here twice on occasional trips to mangalore, and it has been my favourite place to stay there. The staff are professional and disciplined, and neither visit disappointed me.

The helpful staff keep an eye on roadside parking with CCTV and guide you where to leave the car, since there's no hotel parking. Food, including breakfast, was average. The location is excellent, in old mangalore, and the rooms are just okay.
