I booked two rooms for two days through the Goibibo app, and the stay was comfortable. The rooms were neat, with fresh, clean towels and linen, and the AC worked well. Hotel Vishwa bhavan is downstairs for breakfast, and there’s a multi-cuisine restaurant on the mezzanine floor. Car parking is available.

A clean, simple lodge that does the job for an overnight stay. Nothing fancy. It’s right in the heart of the city and has ample parking. If breakfast isn’t included, there’s a restaurant on the premises serving breakfast and meals.

Hampankatta is a handy central spot, with good restaurants, shops, and ice cream parlors all within an easy walk. The twin room was very clean, including the washroom, though the washroom was a bit small. A good place to stay in the centre of Mangalore at a good price.

It’s an average hotel with small rooms, okay for one night, and the staff were helpful and friendly. The big problem is access for older people and divyangs: there are stairs everywhere, even to reach the toilet inside the room. I found that really difficult while traveling with my old parents.

I’ve stayed at this property several times, and the amenities are good. But the staff are rude and not flexible at all. I politely asked about getting one extra room for a day and tried to work out a reasonable option, but the receptionist was stubborn. I was willing to pay more this time, but I won’t visit this hotel again when I’m in Mangalore.
