Hotel Madhuvan Serai

The food was excellent, with separate vegetarian dining on the first floor and non-vegetarian dining on the ground floor. The staff were very helpful, and parking was easy. It’s also convenient for getting around the city. I paid 120 for an auto to Krishna Temple. I stayed one night at this well-kept hotel and found the service top-notch. Most TV channels were locked or unavailable.

I chose this place for a solo business trip on 5th August 2025 because of its 24-hour check-in. The two attached restaurants, one pure veg and one non-veg, made the stay comfortable and worthwhile. Hot water is available around the clock, and there’s a luggage room. The staff were friendly and supportive, and the service was good. Room 312 looked a little old, though it was maintained well. The lift smelled a bit, which was my only complaint. The TV was there, but the dish wasn’t recharged, as usual. Try calling or WhatsApping the hotel directly to book. You may get a better offer than online, and there’s no advance payment. A good place to stay in Manipal. Thank you.

The hotel is good value for the money. Staff were nice, hospitality was very good, and the veg food I tried was really good too.

I’d stay here again on my next visit. The hotel offers free Wi-Fi if you ask at the front desk, and Airtel and Jio 5G worked well for me. It’s easy to get around, with autos available throughout the day and evening. MIT Manipal is within walking distance, and the hotel can arrange travel for temple or beach visits. Nearby places are well connected too. Breakfast was great, and you can order other food as well. There’s a good menu and plenty of choice. The vegetarian and non-vegetarian food areas are on different floors, which suits people who want them kept separate. Staff, front desk, and room service were all friendly and helpful, and I had no language barrier. It’s great value for money. Use a UPI app for quicker, easier payments.
