We had a wonderful team outing at La Placide Resorts, Pondicherry. The peaceful, clean property was well maintained, and the comfortable rooms had an atmosphere that worked well for relaxing together. Staff were courteous and supportive, keeping things well managed. The food was good, and the arrangements met our expectations. Excellent stay and hospitality. I'd recommend it for families, corporate outings, and group trips, and would visit again.

We were all very disappointed, and I can't recommend staying here. The reception boys were good, but they had no authority to get things sorted. We had to ask for everything, even water bottles. There were no tea or kettle, no WiFi, and no door mats. Fans, lights, and the TV weren't working, and the restroom didn't have an exhaust fan. Breakfast was the same every day, unhygienic, and not good tasting. We gave feedback but got the same tasteless food the next day. When we booked, we were told there'd be WiFi, a different breakfast variety every day, and more. Sorry, but the stay didn't match what we were promised.

LA PLACIDE made for a great stay. The staff were courteous and professional, and the morning receptionist was especially helpful with check-in and tips for getting around locally. Even arriving late at night, the reception team made everything easy. Thanks to my friend for pointing me here. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Pondicherry or auroville.

The pool was clean and well kept, and breakfast came with the stay. Auroville beach is right across from the hotel. Service was good too, so it’s a very nice place to stay.

We had a peaceful, comfortable stay and will come back 😁. The rooms were looked after well, the Wi-Fi was good, and the staff were friendly. Nice vibes, fresh air, and a lovely place to relax 😉😊.
