It's convenient that the lodge is so close to the temple, and the rooms are reasonably clean. It's budget-friendly, so with a few compromises it can be a decent place to stay. Still, staff weren't responsive when I asked for service, and the TV didn't work. There's no free Wi-Fi, and it costs ₹50 extra if you want it. Their check-in runs from 8 AM to 6 AM the following day; stay even one hour beyond that and they charge for a full extra day, which is disappointing. Given all that, I'd rate it 3 stars.

The reception staff were rude and seemed focused on money, and the rooms were absolutely uncleaned. I booked a 4Bed AC room, but because I checked in before 8am, which is their check-in time, they put me in a 2bed room instead. They then charged for two days in the 2 bedroom as well as the 4bed rate, treating early check-in as an extra day. Be careful so you don't get cheated. There are many better hotels there.

For a quick one day visit, this may be worth considering, especially if you're travelling with senior citizens or expect to visit the main temple often. The location is very prime and very close to the temple. Prices are on the high side because it's a prime area with demand, and even Wi-Fi is charged, so it feels over commercialized. The non AC room was average for one night, a little small but adjustable.

I've stayed here a few times and would come back again. I spent two nights here with my family after booking over the phone. For a budget hotel, don't expect extra amenities, but the room was clean and there was hot water around the clock. Being so close to the temple makes it good value for the money.
