It’s easy to get an auto or bus right outside since the hotel is on the main road, and it’s within walking distance of Bhubneshwar railway station’s 6th platform exit on Cuttack Puri road. Keep an eye out, though, because it’s easy to walk past. Dominos pizza is next door, and there’s also a restaurant in the hotel, which is handy if you suddenly need food. The food’s quality and quantity were okay. The rooms are spacious, with good furniture, fittings and wardrobes, and the place is kept clean. There’s free WiFi, a lift that works well, and a DG set for power cuts. Staff are helpful too. A single AC room was Rs. 950 and a double A.C. room Rs. 1300 as of July 2018. For the price, it’s a cosy and comfortable place to stay. Bhubneshwar hotel is nearby too, but I’d choose Hotel Bishram Bhavan for its spacious, elegant, neat and tidy rooms.

Breakfast is made to order, with a fair number of options. The Aloo Parathas I had were well made. My room had fittings missing, including the bed lights, and although there was a geyser switch inside, it was turned off from outside. The area was noisy, and when I checked in around midnight, the WiFi wasn’t working. The filtered drinking water tasted unusual, so I’d suggest ordering bottled water.
It’s a decent spot for an overnight stay, very close to Bhubaneshwar Railway station. The building itself isn’t impressive, but the staff and management were very courteous and polite. Most Deluxe rooms are spacious, clean and well kept, with basics like a clean toilet, shower, hot water, cable TV and mineral water. The restaurant has closed, though room service is prompt.

The service was very poor, and the staff at hotel bishram bhawan at Bhubaneswar weren’t good. Nobody responded properly. I wouldn’t book this hotel.
