The Artiste, Kochi, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel by Marriott

The warm, elegant atmosphere made for a comfortable and pleasant experience at Marriot Artiste. I was greeted with professional, thoughtful hospitality, and Sinan, Shivani, and Paulose Jiby made the visit especially memorable. I may have misspelled a name, but I really appreciated how attentive, courteous, and caring they were. They responded quickly to every request, went the extra mile for our comfort, and kept such positive energy throughout.🩷🌻 It was a delightful stay/visit. I appreciate the team's effort and commitment, would love to come back, and highly recommend it.

The service was as disappointing as the food at my birthday dinner at Artiste, located inside Kochi Marriott Hotel. The staff seemed poorly trained, confused, and uncoordinated, and couldn't give clear information or proper assistance. I picked the restaurant for a memorable buffet, but the selection was shockingly limited, with barely anything available and very little variety. For a place with this reputation, I expected a lavish, well-stocked spread. We eventually had to order à la carte because there wasn't enough food, which defeated the point of choosing a buffet for a special occasion. It was an upsetting experience on my birthday. Thanks for ruining what should have been a special evening.

We were a group of 10 staying in 4 rooms, and the warm, professional staff made the trip go smoothly. During the busy peak season, they arranged early check-in for some of our rooms for an extra charge, which we appreciated. The hotel's colorful artistic feel and beautiful upkeep made it feel special. Our rooms were spacious and had lovely backwater views, and breakfast offered a delicious range of local and international choices. Being attached to Forum Mall was very convenient for shopping and dining, and the hotel was a great base for visiting sights in both Kochi and Ernakulam. Highly recommended!

I enjoyed my two-night stay. The lobby was nice, and the rooms were large and clean. The bathroom was extraordinarily spacious, with the toilet area separate from the rest, and there were good-quality cotton towels. Service was nice too, and breakfast was good. My one reservation was the soft bed. A good night's sleep matters most to me, so that kept this at four stars instead of five. Otherwise, I would've given it five.
