We booked for 13th december, and it was a really awful experience. The rooms were dirty, dark, and looked like Oyo hourly rooms, with a kotha-like feel. The blankets had multiple holes and felt like 100 rupees quality. The bed was cheap and small, smelled bad, and not a single charging socket worked. The bathroom was filthy, the outside area smelled, and they didn't provide even one bisleri water. My small kid kept crying at the sight of the rooms. The gyser didn't work, they kept switching off the AC, and the pool was so dirty we couldn't step in. Food was very average, and the tea tasted like train tea, basically just water. There was no real service despite charging us 2000 per person. A tubelight was hanging from the ceiling, making it hard to see, and they kept banging on the door, so there was no privacy. Worst nightmare. Please never book this resort.

Last month my coaching institute brought about 170 people to Matheran, and we stayed at the Redwood Hotel. The space and accommodation worked comfortably for such a large group. Ambience, food, and service were all just what I expected, and the whole trip was really good. Thanks to caretaker Mr. Megh Patel. We'll definitely come again.

Don't waste your money. I came after reading the reviews, but found nothing like what they'd suggested. The food quality and taste were third class. I couldn't figure out what they used in the dessert, the noodles smelled bad, and the buttermilk tasted different and was just water. The pool water was white rather than clear. There wasn't even a fan in the disco, so how are you supposed to dance? A completely bad experience.

Booking with this resort was a very bad experience. Check the policies carefully: they didn't tell us at booking that there was no non-veg food, and they charged 1000rs for cancellation. Their attitude was that they'd explain things only if the customer asked, otherwise we should look at the website. Communication was useless, with no courtesy or understanding. They are fraudsters, and I won't recommend anyone go there.

We had a wonderful and enjoyable stay at this resort opposite Matheran Police Station. The rooms were clean, and there was a pool and playing area. Vegetarian meals were tasty, with breakfast, lunch, evening tea and biscuits, and dinner included. Echo point, lake point, lords point, and other places are nearby.
