The property is quiet, with a lovely pool for both kids and adults, plus outdoor activities. The in-house spa was great. Food had a good variety of vegetarian dishes and a different menu each day, so I'd recommend the room and food package. Watch out for monkeys roaming freely around the property. It's a little far from the station, though you can travel by hand-pulled vehicle or horse.

Usha Ascort was a peaceful place for a family stay in Matheran. Our room was clean and spacious, with a beautiful valley view, and the staff were courteous and attentive. The food was a highlight: authentic Gujarati, pure vegetarian, four meals a day, all fresh, tasty, and homely. Highly recommended.

The evening nature-based entertainment and the peaceful setting made our stay especially restorative. Usha Ascot is surrounded by greenery, with fresh air and room for relaxing walks around the property. It felt well cared for, and would suit families, couples, or anyone wanting a break from city life. We spent two days there and found the meals a real highlight: fresh, tasty, and varied enough for everyone. The dining felt homely, and the staff were attentive and courteous. It was a comfortable, memorable getaway, and we’d gladly return when visiting Matheran.

The bathrooms felt a little small, and making them slightly bigger could add comfort, especially for couples or honeymoon guests. Apart from that, I found Usha ascot , Matheran peaceful and enjoyable. Its setting among nature is excellent for unwinding and getting a break from daily stress.

They serve Jain food, which is a plus for Guju families. The food, rooms, and service were all top notch. I’d put it among the top five properties in Matheran.
