OYO 81979 Mohan Palace

OYO canceled the hotel I’d originally booked and offered me this one instead. The rooms were in poor condition, and the place lacked even basic amenities. After paying an advance, I regretted booking it. OYO customer care was no help, so based on my experience, I’d avoid booking hotels through OYO.

I was there with my family of seven at 9 pm, and the manager initially refused to check us in because I’d prepaid through OYO. He said the hotel didn’t accept OYO bookings, though he eventually let us in after we asked. The stay was horrible: there was no room service, and the hotel boy kept my ₹300 change. Of the three rooms we booked, none had a properly working bathroom handle, and room 301’s washbasin drained straight into an open drain. The room itself was good, but the location, food availability and quality, and service all fell short. Worst hotel stay of my life.

There were insects all over the room, including a mouse that ate the prasad we’d left there. The TV only had one channel, the shower didn’t work, and the bathroom doors wouldn’t close. I had a bad stay at Oyo Mohan palace and wouldn’t recommend this property.

The rooms were great and the staff was good. It’s very close to Vrindavan dham, and the price seemed very reasonable, so it felt like good value. A good alternative for visiting the temple.
