Raasvan Vrindavan AM Hotel Kollection

The rooms blend modern design with Indian tones, and the ambiance has a warm feel. Amit arranged a free upgrade, and requests were handled promptly. Maintenance could be better, though, so I’d give that 4/5 for now. Breakfast was tasty and freshly made with plenty of options, but service can take a while. The hotel is across a bridge near the edge of panigaon, about 15 mins from central Vrindavan. Finding a rickshaw can be tricky, although once you reach the centre, most places are walkable. Despite being a really good hotel, I think that’s one reason it recieved a lot of guests. One complaint is about the water quality across Uttar Pradesh in general, not particularly the hotel. The washroom water was quite bad for showering, leaving my hair dry, sticky and terrible even after shampoo. The hard water also seemed to leave towels, bedding linen and other washed items feeling dusty, as it doesn’t emulsify with soap or washing powder. We had a pleasant stay at Raasvan despite a few minor issues that could be sorted. Would recommend.

The food was delicious, and the atmosphere made the stay relaxing and memorable. Rooms were spacious, spotless and beautifully maintained, and the staff were courteous, attentive and always ready to help with a smile. Check-in was a warm welcome and check-out went smoothly, everything felt perfect. Thank you to the staff, with special thanks to Ankit bhai, amit bhai and saumbeer bhai. Great experience.

Sombir and Shiva were especially kind and helpful, and the food at Raasvan was excellent. The stay still needs work, though. We had no hot water for two days, the air-conditioners didn’t work at night, and the power kept cutting out. Reception staff repeatedly said these problems would be fixed, but they weren’t. The place has potential if these basic services are taken care of.

The location is about a kilometre from Panigaon parking, where police restrict entry, and regular battery rickshaws can easily reach it. There’s also parking at the hotel. Rooms are small but clean and have all amenities; the washroom was clean and the TV worked. Mr. Amit Kumar and Mr. Deepak were helpful, and the staff behaved professionally. Good value for money.
