Bacchu Singh, the main cook, is good and prepares food according to what you need. The owner is cooperative when clients have concerns, and the service is good. The cottages are excellent, with a scenic view.

Mr. Ashok and his team even checked on me when my train was delayed on the return trip, and kept in touch until I reached my destination safely. That thoughtful care capped a delightful stay, and I hope to come back more often. My first trip to Mathura was for work, and I was nervous about finding decent accommodation beyond the usual OYO rooms and dharamshalas. I needed a local woman to join me in my room during the day for work, but most hotels don’t allow local visitors in personal spaces. I found Hotel Radha Ashok on Booking.com, and Mr. Ashok was helpful and responsive from the start. He made check-in smooth and agreed to my request. The property is serene and charming, with personalized attention from the limited staff, prompt communication and help with basic needs. For a tier-3 city like Mathura, I thought the service was exceptional. The hotel has been operating for 30 years and has built a solid reputation with travellers. It’s an expansive property in the heart of the city, and feels more like an upscale guest house than a cookie-cutter franchise. Its distinctive service and the land it occupies let it charge premium rates, though that could leave some guests with mismatched expectations. It runs at low occupancy and mainly serves corporate clients, and isn’t a full-service hotel with set buffets or standard breakfast and lunch spreads. Staff will prepare meals or open the swimming pool if you ask.

The warm welcome from the managers and staff made our stay at Radha Ashok feel like being with family. Everyone was kind, and their good behaviour made us want to stay longer. The hotel was neat and clean, and the food tasted homely and was very good. We visited Mathura and Vrindavan, and the stay added to our spiritual experience. It really felt like a home away from home.

The staff were supportive and well trained, and all the nearby places were convenient to reach. The property was very well maintained. I loved the place.
