We stopped at the resort for a quick lunch during a family trip, but the peaceful, beautiful atmosphere kept us there for over four hours. We took our time eating and enjoying the surroundings. The staff were courteous, and my three-night stay was pleasant. The problem came after checkout: I left my phone charger in the room and contacted the resort. They confirmed they had found it and said they would send it to Gauhati for me to collect. That never happened. When my acquaintance in Gauhati followed up, the resort said they had never recovered the charger. Small gestures of goodwill go a long way in hospitality and other services.
