The breakfast spread was a highlight, with plenty of continental and local choices, and the restaurant food was tasty and cooked well. The hotel also has a big garden behind it for morning walks or exercise, plus lots of open parking. My room had a nice view, was spacious and tidy, and the linens were clean. The bathroom was roomy too, with modern amenities. There were some water marks on the ceiling, though. I appreciated the kettle, tea and instant coffee. The stocked fridge and snack bar were handy, but cost extra. It took me a while to find the hot water switch, so I ended up with a cold shower the first day. Staff were polite, though service and check-in could use more training. A broken key card was fixed right after we reported it. There’s also a club and lounge in the neighboring building, run by the same company. It’s a little pricey for a small town, but the amenities made up for that and I’d recommend staying here.

A good-value breakfast stop right on the highway in Kharragpur. I stopped here on my way to Jhargram on 31/12/25. The buffet was Rs 300/- plus GST, with idly, dosa, bada, poha, chana, bhature, sandwiches, sausage, veg cutlet, eggs, two kinds of juice, tea and coffee. Lots of choice for the price.

Whenever I’m in this area, this is likely to be my preferred place to stay. I had a pleasant visit, the room was comfortable and had modern amenities, and the food was very good. Service was prompt whenever I needed anything.

I’ve stayed here on my trips to kharagpur before, but this visit was a letdown. The room wasn’t as clean as I’d expect, and the food quality has been declining for a few months. Menu prices are steep too, like 119 rs for a 250ml Thumbs up bottle. What bothered me most was a privacy breach: while I was in the room, a staff member unlocked the door from outside without asking or letting me know. Charging so much while leaving customers without peace of mind, privacy, or safety isn’t a good way to run a hotel.

The rooms were clean and my experience was good overall. Service could be slow, though. When I ordered food, it was often delayed or sometimes forgotten 😄.
