Thanks, Hotel New Golden Veena. The prices are affordable, the location is good, and the rooms have a vibe that suits you. Best hotel ever. If you're visiting Mount Abu, definitely stay here.

The room smelled bad and was unhygienic. We'd booked a month ahead, but the owner never discussed the room facilities, took our money, and booked us into a non-AC room. When we arrived and asked for a refund, he wouldn't give one. After I posted a review, he said other people stay there too. His behavior was rude, disrespectful, and completely unprofessional. He runs a whole hotel but doesn't know the first thing about hospitality. Highly not recommended. If zero stars were possible, I'd give that.

After a lot of discussion and showing proof, the owner finally acknowledged our booking for three rooms, which we'd made a month earlier with full payment in advance. At check-in, he first said there was no booking. The rooms were dirty and smelled terrible, so we ended up cancelling. He then refused to refund even 70% of what we'd paid. He was very rude and clearly doesn't know how to treat guests. Tourists, be careful. I especially recommend not booking this hotel at all.

Don't book the basic rooms here, go for the more expensive ones. The blanket was dirty, and staff wouldn't give us another. I had to sleep without one in 13-degree weather.
