After a few hours in awful conditions, we changed rooms and thought we’d finally found one that was decent. Then a big rat started roaming around on our belongings, and I saw it climb onto the bed. The switches weren’t working properly either. We moved again in the middle of the night, only to find stained sheets. The sheets in the first two rooms had been dirty and stained too. The first room looked clean but had a strong stench that was unbearable to stand in. Air freshener helped only briefly before the smell came back. There were flies and mosquitoes, and the bathroom was the main source of the stink. Its exhaust fan didn’t work, and the washbasin was dirty with lots of pan masala spit in it, which made the water back up. The lift wasn’t working, either, making it a nightmare to get elders up to the second floor. The stairs had no railings to hold on to for stability.

There were so many mosquitoes in the room, and the bed sheets had loads of stains. The rooms and washrooms weren’t clean at all, and there were lots of condoms on the floor. If I could give a lower score, I’d give this place -10.

I stayed for 2 days and everything was nice. The room was good, the blanket was clean, service came within a few minutes, and parking was available. The staff were good and humble, and I didn’t have any issues. People saying the place isn’t good should be ignored.

A big stain in the middle of dirty sheets, and the aircon and hot water weren’t working in my friend’s room. I had a big run-in with the owner and we had to involve the police. We still only got half our money back. We were all upset and angry on the last day of an otherwise great holiday in Himachal. Terrible place, don’t stay here.
