Whispering Woods

The birthday surprise was a lovely part of our three days at Whispering Woods Coorg. The staff helped my wife arrange the cake and decorations, and everyone treated us like family. We loved the food, the atmosphere, and the hospitality. Great for a romantic break or a family getaway if you want top-notch service. Highly recommend, we'll be back!

We booked through a travel company, and the location was great, though it's a bit far from the city centre. Plan to arrive by 7 pm. We stayed on New Year's Eve; there was a bonfire and music, but it didn't meet our expectations. A barbecue could have made the night more memorable. The food was good, and most of the staff were very helpful, though the receptionist seemed uninterested in customer service. The homemade wine on the rack wasn't very good. At checkout, nobody asked us for the room key, and we forgot to return it. When they later contacted us, it felt as if they were blaming us, even though they hadn't asked for it or checked the room after checkout. They were equally responsible for the mix-up. In the end, we paid a local driver ₹100 to take the key back. The situation could have been handled better.

We spent three nights here on holiday and had a lovely time. The service was great, and the food was really tasty. Our room was clean and well maintained. We'd definitely recommend it to anyone visiting coorg.

There was a lovely green view from our room, with coffee plants all around and fresh air and nature sounds in the morning. The homestay felt peaceful and was a great escape. Our room was cozy, spotless, and well maintained. Parking could use more space for cars, and an electric transformer inside the property spoils the view from some rooms.
