We booked two rooms for a short fresh-up and to keep our bags safe while we went to a nearby wedding. We only used the rooms for under an hour to freshen up, but paid ₹2000 for two hours and another ₹200 to stay for four hours in total. That felt far too much for what we got, especially with the AC not working. The rooms were tiny and box-like. The fan barely moved air, so they were hot and uncomfortable even during our brief time there. What bothered me most was the receptionist’s attitude. When we asked about the rooms, the way they smiled or smirked made my spouse and me feel judged about being a couple. We even felt we had to show our marriage certificate to avoid more judgment, but the poor attitude continued. We felt disrespected from the moment we arrived. The rooms and staff conduct made us feel unsafe and judged. I’d caution families and female guests against booking here. It may be adequate for bachelors, but I don’t consider it safe or suitable for ladies or families. We won’t return.

The rooms and bathrooms were clean and hygienic, and there’s a good parking area. The place is crowded, and the rooms are on the third floor. There’s a TV, but no channels because they hadn’t recharged the TATA sky receiver, and the lift wasn’t operated. The receptionist wasn’t pleasant either. When one of my family members arrived at 4:00 AM, he wouldn’t open the main gate and told them to use the back gate.

Since it was still very new when we stayed, everything was neat and simple. The price felt fair, parking underground is ample, and the service was reasonably responsive. It’s easy to reach from the main road and suits people stopping overnight on the way to Wayanad or Karnataka.

There’s a very large room with a separate TV hall, and the stay itself was excellent. I wouldn’t book the breakfast, though. It sends you to a restaurant in the mall building with only their cheap menu food. You’re better off going there directly and choosing what you want.

I stay at OYO rooms regularly in Kerala and other states, and this was a pleasant visit. Check-in went smoothly, and the staff were polite and helpful with everything. The rooms were especially clean, well furnished, and larger than usual. There’s plenty of underground parking too, a very current feature. One of the best OYO's in all of kerala, and an easy five-star rating from me.
