Staff do durgs and use a master card to navigate through rooms. Please don’t share your plans for the day with them, as your booked room may be used for other guests’ activities.

I’m paying around 4k a night to stay here for a week, and this is the worst service I’ve seen. The staff are unprofessional and unwelcoming. The one person I found polite was the middle aged Nepali house keeping guy. He knew how to speak nicely and present things, unlike the manager and supervisor, who sit at reception making comments as you pass. I’ve worked as a hospitality manager in Europe and other countries for years, so I know what good service involves. The food and service are a mess. Restaurant orders take ages, and you can hear the chef and waiters arguing loudly in the kitchen. Servers disappear mid-service, so getting anything extra can mean waiting 10-15 minutes, if they come back and listen to you. If you ask for cutlery in your room, they just say no. Outside food isn’t allowed, and if you order it, they tell you to eat from the packets. They also won’t let delivery people into the reception or hotel waiting area. There’s been no Wi-Fi for the last 3 days, even though I’ve asked 4-5 times every day. Food is expensive and often awful. Naan or roti arrives very cold and oily, so it’s hard to chew or even break by hand. The tea was like railway train tea, or worse, and the cup was dirty on the outside. Breakfast costs 400, but you get just one piece at a time. To get another, you wait around 10 minutes for a waiter, then they go argue in the kitchen, where it takes another 20 minutes to cook. That can mean an hour waiting for breakfast, even when only two tables and four people are eating. At dinner, tandoori food and naan aren’t ready before 7-8 pm.

Very unprofessional. I asked them to confirm my booking in the morning, but they only got back to me 10 hours later.

The staff were good, especially mamta mam, and the service was the best.
