Pause by the Sea

The people made our two days at Pause by the Sea and meals at Uma by the Sea feel personal. Jitu was warm and attentive, checking that we were comfortable, and manager Rahul's care helped everything run smoothly. Prachi was lovely and supportive, and Chef Aaloo made delicious food where each dish felt balanced and carefully prepared. The stay itself was a chance to slow down: quiet mornings, beachside time, and waking to the sound of waves. At Uma by the Sea, brunch was fresh and relaxed, while dinner beside the ocean felt magical with the sunset and breeze. Both meals were thoughtfully put together in a calm, elegant setting. It was more than just a place to sleep and eat, it felt like an experience made with heart. If you're in Goa and want comfort, good food, and caring hospitality, this is a lovely choice. Grateful for the memories and already hoping to return.

The occasional power fluctuations were the one small drawback, but the quiet atmosphere made our four-night stay especially relaxing. Pause by the Sea is right on Morjim Beach, which felt cleaner and calmer than Vagator or Anjuna, with a real beach holiday feel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well looked after. Breakfast choices were limited, which makes sense for a boutique hotel with fewer than 20 rooms. Everything else was up to the mark. I'd recommend it if you want a peaceful beachfront stay in North Goa.

We spent six days here and absolutely loved it. The cottages are in great shape, and the location is right on Morjim beach. Uma by the sea serves delicious cocktails and some amazing Goan fusion food, and we could watch the beautiful sunset every evening. Great service too.

Our four-day stay at Pause by the Sea was such a good choice. My friends and I booked one of the lovely cottages. It's a little inland but right on the beach, with Burger Factory next door. The property is peaceful, quiet, and really pretty, and the staff are sweet, courteous, and accommodating. Prachi even packed a breakfast box for me, which was so thoughtful. The room was warm and welcoming, spacious, clean, well air-conditioned, and had a well-equipped mini fridge. The place is well kept and has a small pool, which didn't take away from the experience. It opens right onto the beach, and I'd recommend it to anyone visiting Morjim. Breakfast was great. The chef makes eggs in original styles and can customize them to your preference, like well done. Uma by the Sea, the attached restaurant, could use more variety on its menu, though.
