There’s plenty of greenery to keep things cool, and the staff are friendly and quick to help. They speak Hindi and English. The rooms are cozy, with big balconies overlooking beautiful Morjim beach. Breakfast is included, and there’s live music on some days as well as a pool table. A great place to stay when you’re up north.

The room made the stay feel worth what we paid: marble floors, clean sheets, a tidy bathroom, and excellent service. Mr Ravi, the owner, went out of his way to make us comfortable, and I want to thank him for that. We were lucky to find this place for our group of friends at such a budget price. The entrance may put you off at first, but things feel different once you get to the room.
I can’t give this place less than one star, though it deserves it. The manager was rude, argumentative, and ill-mannered, and the rest of the staff came across as unhelpful too. The rooms were dingy and poorly lit. Breakfast was advertised in the deals, but the choice was just an omelet or a sandwich, and we weren’t allowed another. It also felt as if Indian customers weren’t a priority, given the number of Russians in Morjim. Staff seemed uninterested in serving us, and the hotel makes up arbitrary policies that can leave you without basic things. If you want to ruin your trip, stay here.
We had to call the police over a payment dispute. They wouldn’t let us leave without paying in full, despite providing no service and refusing the breakfast they had agreed to the previous day. We’d been pushed to stay here on 28th Aug’18 after the hotel we’d originally booked slyly persuaded us to come here instead. This place is apparently closed in the off-season, yet it still accepts online bookings. At that time there was no room service, restaurant, drinking water, geyser, toiletries, or breakfast. The room was all they gave us, and even that was dull and badly lit, with a humid smell. There was no TV or other entertainment, and nowhere outside to sit or relax in a garden. Make sure you confirm breakfast, payment, and taxes before checking in. After we’d checked in and paid in advance, we were also subjected to abusive language.
Could I give this a negative star? The hotel and restaurant management seem to be in a dispute, and neither side is willing to serve guests. Breakfast can be delayed until 10 am, and don’t be surprised if you spot frogs or snakes inside the cottage. The service is awful. I’d say avoid this hotel completely.
