We had a comfortable stay at Shiva Cottage. The complimentary breakfast and option of a late checkout were nice perks, and the beachside location is excellent value for money. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway!

The resort has a really nice ambience, and the rooms are good. The beach is very close, within 200 meters.

It's right by the beach and a brilliant choice for a quiet holiday with friends or family. The staff were friendly and helpful, and prices in November, a bit off season, were affordable.

Service was good, and the food here is good too, though expensive. There are plenty of hotels along the beach with cheaper food and drinks. Shiva Cottages is on Ashwem beach, with a private entrance to the beach that makes things feel much more private and comfortable.

We only came across La Plage on our last day in the area, when we realized there was a beach adjoining it and needed a room. It's less than a minute's walk, and the manager had a good business sense. We needed the room for a couple of hours, and there was one available. The air-conditioned room was apparently around 4K, but after negotiating we paid 1800. It was decent and clean. Thanks again to the manager for a great outing! :)
