At 1 am on a cold night, they demanded that every family member come to the counter to sign the register, including our sleeping 7-year-old. When we explained, staff threatened to throw the child out, abused us, and even tried to get physical. Eventually, they put us out of the room in the freezing cold. The owner was a good person, but in my life I’ve never encountered staff like this. They are a disgrace to humanity and tarnish Bihar’s reputation. I’m a government lawyer and have stayed in many hotels, but I’ve never had such a terrible experience. We’d booked through OYO and were first sent from one branch to another, even at 1 am, until the owner’s intervention led the Station Road branch to accommodate us. The staff then demanded Aadhaar cards for every family member, even the child. I’d advise against staying here with family or friends; the staff seem capable of any kind of misbehavior.

They refused to check me in even though I’d paid in advance through OYO. This hotel and its staff are fraudulent. I’ve already filed a complaint with the CPGRAMS consumer forum against OYO over the incident. Avoid booking here.

The facilities were poor: no hot water, a room full of mosquitoes, and no response from staff. There was nobody available for emergencies. The charges were high, around 1500-2k.
