Right across from Central Bus Stand Abu Road and just a 3-5 minute walk from the railway station, the location is really convenient. Check-in was easy, and the staff were caring and welcoming. A good choice for travelling with family or friends.

The staff were cooperative, and the rooms are spacious for a budget hotel, right opposite Central Bus Stand, Abu Road. I had a mixed stay, though. The manager wanted extra money for an early check-in of just 1-2 hours. I refused and said I'd wait until 12 pm, but they then let me in an hour early. The room was clean, but the sheets hadn't been changed until I complained. The AC leaked water all day and night, and there was no geyser in the bathroom. I've posted photos for reference.

My wife and I stayed at Hotel Tourist in Abu Road on 14-15 September 2019 for our Ambaji Mata Darshan trip. The manager was polite and cooperative, and it felt like good value for money in such a small town. The room was nice, and the TV, AC, and lift were working. Both the bus and train stations are within walking distance.

The five thalis we ordered were so bad that we tasted one and wasted the other four. I wouldn't order lunch or dinner here. They also give hand wash in tiny packets, which doesn't seem practical, and sometimes they don't answer the phone.
8/10
As a budget hotel, it's good, with convenient connections for getting around and restaurants nearby. The rooms are clean, but some fixtures need fixing. The staff are nice, though they could be more professional.
