Palace Hotel - Bikaner House

We had a good time here. The property has lots of open space and gardens, and the front office and restaurant staff were both courteous. Our suite had a large room, a big bathroom with a bathtub, and a changing room. The general manager, Mr. Revat Singh, was very helpful. There is no swimming pool.

The furniture was old but kept in good condition. The rooms were spacious, and both the location and food quality felt comparable to a five-star hotel.

It's frustrating to see such a beautiful property let down by its management. GAURAV, the manager, was rude and uncooperative. We'd asked about the price of a particular room beforehand, but when we arrived he suddenly raised it. There was no room service either, which is poor management for the price. The way guests who are paying get treated says a lot. We travel regularly, and no one in our family or friend circle will stay here again. The reason is the embarrassing, poor management.

We booked five rooms, numbers 28 to 32, and checked in on 10/1/26. There were two separate single beds joined together instead of double beds, and they made noise whenever we changed position. The mattresses weren't good, and the heater barely worked, leaving the room cold all night. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom, so we had to keep the window open. The electrical sockets are old and don't meet today's needs. At the restaurant they provide paper napkins only, the kind you can get at a small snack shop. There's no special chair for children either. They need to put strong wooden double beds in every room and improve many things.
